Shipping Policy
1. Billing & Fulfillment Schedule
- Subscription Boxes are billed on the 1st of every month and shipped near the end of each month.
- One-Off Products are processed within up to 3 weeks from the order date, plus transit time (see below).
2. Shipping Methods & Carriers
We ship all orders via our independent courier network. Once your package leaves our facility, delivery is subject to the courier's network and schedules, which we cannot control or guarantee.
3. Estimated Delivery Times
- Ontario: 3–5 business days
- Rest of North America: 5–10 business days
4. Duties & Taxes
Recipients are responsible for any import duties, customs fees, or taxes levied by their country or region.
5. Shipping Notifications
You will receive an email notification once your order ships. If you do not see this email, please check your spam folder or contact us at storyboundbox@gmail.com.
6. Delivery & Proof of Delivery
Once a package is marked as delivered by the courier with proof of delivery (such as a delivery confirmation scan or signature), StoryBoundBox is not responsible for lost, stolen, or missing packages. We strongly recommend that customers request signature confirmation if available in their area
We are not responsible for packages after they have been successfully delivered and confirmed by the courier.
7. Late Shipments & Your Rights
Under the Ontario Consumer Protection Act, if we do not deliver your order within 30 days of the promised shipping date—or, if no specific date was promised, within 30 days of your order—you may cancel your order and receive a full refund at any time before delivery.

- Please note: Blind Date with a Book boxes, Girls Night with a Book boxes, and all subscription boxes are non-refundable.
9. Important Notes
- We are not responsible for courier delays once a package has left our facility.
- We are not responsible for packages once proof of delivery has been confirmed by the courier.
- We are not responsible for duties, taxes, or brokerage fees charged on international orders.
